Since the country list for CQ contests is based on a combination of the Worked All Europe (WAE) and ARRL DXCC lists, and the ARRL has already adopted a policy regarding Crimean stations in its award and contest programs, we will amend our policy to be consistent with the ARRL's DXCC policy." La estación ED5M estará activa desde el WFF Parque Natural del Montgó EAFF-128 los próximos 24 a 26 de febrero de 2012 coincidiendo con el CQWW 160m de SSB. Se entregará un diploma especial conmemorativo del 25 aniversario del Parque Natural a todas las estaciones que contacten con ED5M en 160 metros. El diploma se enviará gratuitamente a todos los solicitantes en pdf. Tambien está disponible una versión impresa de muy alta calidad  solicitándola  al manager EA5FL. La estación saldrá desde el Parque Natural  con una vertical de tamaño completo de 5/8 elevada por globo, y varias beverages de +300 metros hacia distintas direcciones. Ayer tuve la oportunidad de estar por la tarde un rato en el CQ WW SSB Contest , y solo tengo que decir que los 10 metros estaban como ya hacia muchos, pero muchos años que no los veía en un concurso. La palabra es LLENA Pues sí, la banda desde 28.200 hasta mas allá de 29.100 llena de estaciones, Europa, Sudamérica  Norteamérica, etc. Sencillamente me daba tanto gusto que decidí grabar unos minutos con la cámara la banda de extremo a extremo, para que algún día, cuando la propa nos abandone, pueda recordar como esta cuando el sol nos da estas alegrías. ¡Viva los 10 metrtos!

As a refreshing and warm summer now turns to autumn with falling leaves, making room for signal take-offs, the Radio Arcala team is getting ready for two Nordic contesting highlights - Scandinavian Activity Contest CW September 17-18 and SSB October 8-9, 2011. On CW, Radio Arcala’s mothership OH8X is to be piloted by Ilkka, OH1WZ while the new Arcala cluster station in Aland, OH0X will be under Toni's, OH2UA command. Last year’s winner Pasi, OH6UM will be at the helm of OH2BH trying to defend his CW/SSB victories. Besides preparing for the SSB leg, they are also making efforts to activate OJ0X from Market Reef.
