The award is sponsored by BRAVE RADIO FRIENDS and can be applied for by amateur radio stations or short wave listeners. The rules are simple: In January 2016 work (OP)  or hear (SWL) as many DXCC-entities as possible. No band or mode restrictions. All entities count only once, regardless of band or mode. For the award a minimum of 20 DXCC-entities is required. The number of DXCC entities worked/heard will be entered in the award. Application with log extract (please pdf, doc, xls or jpg). Deadline of the application is February 28, 2016. You can only apply for a pdf-version of the award and there is no award fee. According the same act, any Brazilian amateur radiostation gained the option to transmit from June 12 to July 13, 2014 (the period of the World Cup) with special callsign formed by it’s own usual letters, but with double numbers of the prefix, without any further requirements or fees to be sent or paid to Anatel. For example: PY2AA, the usual callsign of LABRE’s station in Sao Paulo, can be used as PY22AA during the World Cup. If and only if Brazil wins the World Cup, any Brazilian amateur radio station can be operated from July 13 to August 31, 2014 with special callsign formed by it’s own usual letters, but with 6 added to the numbers, also without any further requirements or fees to be sentor paid to Anatel. Según informa URE a sus socios: A petición de diversos socios que participan en el Diploma de Municipios Españoles (DME) y previa conformidad del vocal de Diplomas de HF, se acuerda modificar las bases de este diploma de manera que se permitan dos actividades por día, siempre que medie un mínimo de dos horas entre el fin de la primera y el inicio de la segunda. Esta modificación entrará en vigor el 1 de mayo de 2013 y no tendrá efectos retroactivos.  Me parece una buen idea, pero, ¿porque no 3? ó ¿4?, ¡que manera de limitar!, solo hay que exigir un mínimo de QSO's para que sea valida y listo.

The ON Contest was first organized in 1980 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Kingdom of Belgium. Since then, this short period contest lasting four hours on a local Sunday morning has become a popular yearly event generating lots of activity on the 80m, 6m and 2m bands. To commemorate its 30th edition, the Mechelen (MCL) division of the UBA is activating a special event callsign ON30ON (Oscar November Thirty Oscar November) To celebrate the event the MCL division of the Belgian IARU Society UBA issues a commemorative award. Si, desde hace menos de un mes esta operativo el DIPLOMA MUNICIPI ITALIANI , que aunque parezca que es idéntico a nuestro DME , no es exactamente lo mismo. en italiano al parecer la palabra municipi , significa ayuntamiento, y en eso consiste el diploma, en activar los distintos ayuntamientos de Italia, no las poblaciones/municipios, tal y como trata el DME . Creo que debe de estar inspirado en nuestro diploma de municipios, al fin y al cabo somos pioneros en muchos diplomas, como el de Faros, lagos, etc

Pues si, mas de una vez te llevas sorpresas en el paquete de la asociación. Esta vez ha sido una nueva referencia IOTA para mi colección, AS-140 , Bhola Island .

Agradable la sorpresa de hoy en el buzón. He recibido el diploma de 2º clasificado del mundo en mi categoría en el Concurso IOTA del año 2008. Me ha alegrado mucho recibirlo.

Según se publica en Radionoticias , el censo de radioaficionados con licencia en España ha caído un 31 % respecto del año anterior. El dato aunque importante y alarmante, me ha chocado mas el que hace referencia a que hay 3 provincias en España en las que no se alcanza el nº de 100 licencias, y once provincias (del total de 57) con menos de 200 operadores. Lo que no se cita en la noticia es el censo por provincias, aunque alguna si que esta clara, pero seria interesante conocerlas. El TPEA cada vez mas complicado.

Pues si, otro diploma internacional, y por supuesto interesante. Se trata del Diploma Internacional de Castillos ( World Castles Award - WCA ). Esta organizado por el grupo RZ1CWC de San Petersburgo, formado por RN1CW, UA1CBW, UA1CIO y UA1AIR. Las bases del diploma WCA indican que es un compendio de diplomas nacionales de castillos, en concreto 14, entre los que no se encuentra nuestro DCE (Diploma de Castillos de España).
