InnovAntennas Acquires Force 12

Según informa  G0KSC: InnovAntennas  has acquired the legendary  Force 12  antenna company and product line and has moved the Force 12 factory from Bridgeport, Texas, to Grand Junction, Colorado, into a facility shared with InnovAntennas America. InnovAntennas Ltd in England is now manufacturing Force 12 products for the European market at its Canvey Island (UK) plant. The Grand Junction facility is up and running, manufacturing and shipping antennas. InnovAntennas says it plans to produce updated versions of classic Force 12 antennas as well as all-new models. InnovAntennas Founder Justin Johnson, G0KSC, was at the Colorado facility earlier this year to assist in setting up and laying out the factory, and the company expects full production to be underway by January. New International Reply Coupon Introduced

The Universal Postal Union ( UPU ) has introduced the  newest model of the International Reply Coupon  (IRC): The Doha model -- so named for the 25th Universal Postal Congress that took place in Doha, Qatar in October 2012 -- will replace the current model, known as the  Nairobi model . Although the US Postal Service ( USPS )  no longer sells IRCs , they are still available in other countries and post offices in the US are mandated to redeem them. The Doha model IRC will go on sale on July 1, 2013. It is valid for exchange it until the end of 2017. The Nairobi model -- first issued on July 1, 2009 -- remains valid until December 31, 2013. IRCs are exchangeable in every UPU member country for stamps representing the minimum postage for an ordinary priority letter-post item or airmail letter sent abroad for a reply. Según leo entre los acuerdos de la Junta Directiva de Ure: La Junta Directiva da su conformidad a la propuesta del vocal de Diplomas de HF de nombrar Expedicionario DME del año 2011 a EB5CS (Antonio Isert) y otorgar la medalla de plata del Diploma España 2011 a EA5GA (José Blasco). Montenegro ya tiene reciprocidad con la FCC

Pues desde ahora veremos muchos K's operando 4O/ Courtesy CIA World Fact Book The FCC has added Montenegro to the list of European countries in which U.S.-licensed hams may operate under the CEPT (European Council of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations) reciprocal operating agreement. The ARRL reports that the change took effect on February 7th. Under CEPT rules, full amateur privileges are granted only to US hams holding Advanced or Extra Class licenses. General Class hams receive limited CEPT Novice privileges, while US Technicians and Novices have no privileges in CEPT countries.
