Ojo con los antiguos IRC's

Según publican en la Web de UPS, al parecer los “viejos” IRC’s no son válidos en USA desde el pasado 1 de julio. Ir con ojo si enviáis algo a un manager USA de no enviarle los IRC’s amarillos.

Redemption of International Reply Coupons at Retail Counters

Effective July 1, 2006, the Postal Service_ will no longer redeem international reply coupons (IRCs) issued prior to 2002.

Retail associates should advise customers possessing pre-2002 IRCs to return them to their correspondents in the country of

issue for redemption through the selling post office.

The non-redeemable pre-2002 IRCs are approximately 2.5 inches by 4 inches and do not have a barcode on the back.

The current redeemable IRCs are approximately 3.75 inches by 6 inches and can be distinguished by the presence of a barcode on the back.

Images of the front and back of both the pre-2002 and current IRCs are shown below. Note: The images presented here are shown in the same size even though, as mentioned above, the non-redeemable pre-2002 IRCs are smaller than the current redeemable IRCs.)
